Westclox Baby Ben Style 1 Back Type Variations

Baby Ben style 1 backs have various patent dates or patent numbers. Early examples have a "Made By" line behind the rear leg. Some examples ca. 1913 have a $2.50 price seal.

1911.1 1902 - 1911 patents at lower right. Rectangular leg hole. "MADE IN LA SALLE, ILL, U.S.A. By Westclox" behind rear leg. Used from the beginning of baby Ben production, suspended late 1912 when the price $2.50 seal was added, then used again from around September 1913 to ca. December 1914.. MADE
