Cast front clock with the figure of a woman clothed in loose robes shown in recumbent position, her left arm resting upon the ground, while the right arm is raised above her head in the act of waving the American flag. In the immediate foreground and at the base of the hill upon which she reclines is a railway train, at the right a ship, and in the central foreground a globe, upon which stands an eagle with outspread wings, the whole forming a setting for a central clock-face."
