Indicator For Electrically Driven Instruments And Clocks. An Aperture In The Rotor Has A Radial Rod With A Sliding Weight. When The Rotor Runs At Synchronous Speed, Centrifugal Force Keeps The Weight As Far Outward As It Will Go. When The Rotor Slows Down, The Weight Will Drop Down And Move The Indicator To Show A Power Outage Has Occurred.
