A good example are the Fashion Brite Bens. Our styling department made up samples in July—Marketing approved them in August—and manufacturing had them coming off our lines in September. The result was that we sold 160,000 of these Big Bens and 200,000 Baby Bens. Our employment level averaged 2850 this year and 2800 last year. Information about automation and future production. The first models will probably sell for $50 or more, but our goal is to get the costs down so we can sell some for $20 to $30.
