Corporate: "General Time and JECO Sign Agreement" "General Time and Japan Electric Company (JECO) of Japan have signed an agreement to cooperate in the of a battery-operated tuning-fork movement. Much of the basic engineering development of the tuning fork has already been done by JECO. JECO has selected General Time Corporation, leader in the field, to assist them in further development and product engineering of this movement." "We currently are manufacturing a transistorized battery-operated movement (Model TR-3). This movement is undoubtedly the best battery-operated movement on the market today."
