Westclox Bingo Alarm Clock Style Series

The first Bingo (Style 1) was a leg-model bell-back alarm clock similar to the Big Ben. The style 2 Bingo was an inexpensive metal-cased alarm clock, and was made until 1957. The plastic cased Bingo (first Style 3 and then Style 4) was made from 1962 - 1980 or later.

Characteristics:

Leg model with ring on top.

Characteristics:

Painted metal case, stamped base, top alarm shut-off

Characteristics:

Plastic case, the plastic lens extends downward into the base.

Characteristics:

Plastic case key-wound alarm clock. Round lens.

1963 - [1990 to 1995]

History of the Bingo Alarm Clock

The trademark BINGO was granted to Western Clock co. on February 3, 1914, number 95,183. The registration contains the statement "The trade-mark has been continuously used in our business since August 1, 1913."
