Example of Westclox Big Ben Style 1 Nickel Alarm Clock (Example ID 439)
Example 439
(8 of 11)
Model Name:
Westclox Big Ben Style 1 Nickel
Notes:
Has early type back (Made in USA), early type bezel with the extra shallow groove near the front, and brass knobs. But it has the standard dial (2.1) instead of 1.1. But that may or may not be original. It had America hour and minute hands when I bought it.
Left and right bezel screws probably original. Bottom one is a replacement.. Hour and minute hands are not original, but have 0.6 mm tips, approximately like what the originals were.
Back 1910.1. Time key (left) is not original but is the correct type. Alarm key is a later replacement.
Alarm strip labeled STEADY REPEAT. Earlier ones said REPEATER.
